27/02/2004 (Agence Europe) - On 25 February, the European Commission adopted a draft Regulation to scrap compensation and anti-dumping duties levied on EU imports of sulphanilic acid manufactured and directly exported by Kokan Synthetics & Chemicals Pvt. Ltd of India. This exemption from the EU anti-dumping duties on the imports of such acid from China and India (under EC Regulations 1338 and 1339/2002) arose from the Commission's acceptance of a special price commitment by Kokan.
