Brussels, 28/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has presented a proposal to amend the Energy Tax Directive, which would generally last no longer than 2012. In force since 1 January 2004, this sets the EU-wide minimum rates normally required on all energy products, which are subject to a number of derogations.
