28/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - Monday's External Relations Council adopted conclusions in which it reaffirmed its commitment to an active conflict prevention policy, took note of proposals by the Presidency (mainly to concentrate on long-term conflict prevention strategies), and its intention to present a report on the implementation of the EU programme on the prevention of violent conflict to the European Council of June 2004.
