28/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - The Council has given its approval to concluding an agreement with the Hong Kong government on the re-admission of persons illegally residing there. The decision (published in the Official Journal L17) allows the Commission to finalise the agreement that it had signed on 27 November 2002 on behalf of the Union less one Member State, Denmark, which is not taking part.
