Launch of first European day for prevention of cancer of colon and cervical cancer

Brussels, 28/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - The first European day for the prevention of cancer of the colon and cervical cancer was held on 28 January on the initiative of the European Institute for Women's Health (Dublin) and the Les femmes d'Europe pour le test HPV association (Brussels). Information events took part in Brussels, Dublin, Paris, London and Rome. The goal was to inform women about cancer prevention and screening for the colon and uterus, which affects 3000 women every year....
