28/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - On 26 January the Council adopted a decision establishing a Community action programme in view of finding a financial solution for the organisations working in the active citizen sector and for the promotion of the civic participation. The objective is to bring the citizens closer to the European institutions and to intensify the links between the citizens of the different countries.
