France hopes to establish "white list" of safe airline companies - meeting between Gilles de Robien and Loyola de Palacio

Brussels, 19/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - After a meeting with the representatives of tour operators and travel agencies, Gilles de Robien, French Transport Minister, proposed last Friday that a "white list" of airline companies providing the best safety guarantees should be drawn up, it is stated in a press release. This proposal will be submitted by Mr de Robien to Loyola de Palacio, Transport Commissioner, on Wednesday.
