Declaration of good intentions at Parliamentary Forum in Bombay - MEPs want to focus on social movement more in 2005 session - EU's protectionism tackled

Bombay, 19/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - The "World Parliamentary Forum" ended in Bombay (India) on Monday with the adoption of a declaration of good non-globalist intentions and a statement of the need for dialogue with the World Social Forum. MEPs were criticised for the European agricultural policy.

Meeting in parallel and because of the World Social Forum (on which we will come back), the World Parliamentary Forum was held in separate locations, and only between members of parliament. MPs...
