First official visit by Libya to Brussels since lifting of sanctions

Brussels, 19/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - An official Libyan delegation, led by Ahmed Mohammad Ibrahim, Vice President of the Congress of the People (an assembly acting as the Libyan parliament) will visit Brussels on 27 January for formal meetings with the members of the European Parliament delegation for cooperation with the Maghreb (North Africa) chaired by Gerardo Galeote Quecedo (EPP-ED, Spain).
