GENERAL NEWS / (eu) ep/equal opportunities

26/11/2003 (Agence Europe) - Last week in Strasbourg, the European Parliament adopted the report by Rodi Kratsa-Tsagaropoulou (EPP-ED, Greece) on promoting organisations operating at European level in the field of equal opportunities between men and women. According to the EP, the financial allocation as amended (EUR 5.5 million for 2004-2008) is compatible with the ceiling for Heading 5 of the financial perspectives 2000-2006.
