Green light for parliament to set up action programme supporting mutual understanding between EU and some non industrialised regions of world

Strasbourg, 26/11/2003 (Agence Europe) - Following the line of its rapporteur Lennart Sacrédieus (EPP/ED, Sweden), the European Parliament has given (as part of consultation procedure) a favourable opinion in support of setting up a Community action programme for organisations promoting mutual understanding between the EU and some of the world's non-industrialised world. The EU partner regions are involved in the Meda, Tacis and Cards programmes, as well as accession candidates. Parliament...
