Brussels, 30/10/2003 (Agence Europe) - The Member States of the EU have decided to speed up the transfer of funds to the Global Health Fund, for the fight against HIV and Aids, tuberculosis and malaria, via the European Development Fund (EDF). The 170 million EUR to be taken out of the EDF to cover the period 2003-2006 can be fully mobilised in 2004. The decision was taken by the EDF management committee.
