The world leader in on-line travel EXPEDIA has acquired the French ANYWAY.COM subsidiary of TRANSAT AT. The operation will be carried out via IAC - INTERACTIVECORP, the parent company of EXPEDIA for EUR 53 MILLION. ANYWAY.COM is the third on-line travel agency in France with a turnover of EUR 11 million and sales of 175,000 tickets in 2003.
