30/10/2003 (Agence Europe) - Economic and Finance Ministers from the EU member states gathered for a private dinner to pay homage to the outgoing President of the European Central Bank (ECB), Wim Duisenberg. His successor, the Frenchman Jean-Claude Trichet, officially takes over the helm of the ECB on 1 November.
