Brussels, 21/10/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Union's plans to avail itself of appropriate structures for implementing its Security and Defence Policy (ESDP) continue to cause suspicion, mainly with the United States, which is why the US Ambassador to NATO, Nicholas Burns, last week called for the matter to be added to the agenda of the North Atlantic Council, which decided to devote a special "informal" meeting to this on Monday evening.
