Anna Diamantopoulou condemns "arranged" marriage of minor Roma girl in Romania

Brussels, 03/10/2003 (Agence Europe) - Social Affairs Commissioner Anna Diamantopoulou has issued a press statement in which she condemns Romania for turning a blind eye to the "arranged" marriage of a 12-year-old Roma princess to a 15-year-old Roma boy in a highly publicised ceremony in Sibiu (Transylvania).
