Solana expresses concern about continued construction of separation fence by Israel - France will consult with EU and Quartet

Brussels, 03/10/2003 (Agence Europe) - Javier Solana, EU High Representative for CFSP, said on Thursday that he was concerned about the decision taken by the Israeli government to continue building the separation fence in the West Bank. During his visit to Poland, Mr Solana said that "taking this decision was not appropriate. I do not think we can accept a wall that creates decisions on the ground about land that has not been divided".
