The Swedish group ALFA LAVAL (centrifugal separation, heat transfer and fluid handling, with a turnover of SK 15 billion in 2002 and 9,100 employed) has acquired BIOKINETICS (turnover SK 550 million in 2002 with 400 employed), the life science division of the KINETICS group. The amount of the acquisition was not revealed.
