17/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - The French Vice-Squadron Leader Alain Dumontet became the new Commander of the European Maritime Force, Euromarfor, for a term of two years. He succeeds Italian Admiral Quinto Gramellini, Commander in Chief of the Italian fleet. Euromarfor was set up in 1995 and is made up of French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese units.
