Brussels, 23/07/2003 (Agence Europe) - The Council has adopted a Regulation to better combat the import of counterfeit goods into the European Union, scheduled to come into force on 1 July 2004. It simplifies the criteria for Member States' customs authorities' seizure of goods upon the request of a copyright or trade mark holder.
