23/07/2003 (Agence Europe) - Radical (Belgian MEP elected in Italy), Olivier Dupuis, has called on the Council and Commission (with regard to the hour of questions in September) to play a mediating role between the government of Ventiane and the Hmong people to bring an end to the repression suffered by these people for almost forty years in Laos. It is also calling on them to launch a special operation for taking in 2000 Hmong people onto European territory.
