Brussels, 23/07/2003 (Agence Europe) - Regulation 1257/2003, which completes the annex of Regulation 2400/96 on registering the names of protected labels of geographical origin, was published in Official Journal L 177 on 16 July. It adds four new designations to the register: Welsh lamb (PGI) the fresh meats category (and offal), which comes from lambs raised in Wales; Nürnberger Bratwürste and Nürnberger Rostbratwürste (PGI), meat products. These measures will enter into force twenty days after the publication of this regulation.
