Amendments to EU/Greenland protocol

Brussels, 27/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - This week the Community Denmark and Greenland have agreed to amend certain provisions in the fourth protocol on conditions for fishing possibilities in Greenland waters for the period 1 January 2001 to 31 December 2006. The proposed changes are supposed to reflect the European Commission strategy presented last December setting out the need to move from fisheries agreements to partnership agreements with third countries in fishing.
