Mercosur wants agriculture concessions from the EU following the CAP agreement

Brussels, 27/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - The EU agreement on its Common Agricultural Policy has breathed “fresh air” into the negotiations over an association and free trade agreement between the EU and the South American common market organisation Mercosur, said Brazilian economics minister, Roberto Rodrigues, on Thursday.
