Brussels, 27/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Community and the Ivory Coast have decided this week to extend by a year (from 1 July 2003-30 June 2004) the existing fishing protocol signed by the two parties. Fishing possibilities granted to Community boats remains the same: demersal fishing: 600 gross registered tons for Spanish boats; tuna fishing: 39 tuna long liners (18 for France and 21 for Spain), 20 surface longliners (15 Spanish boats and 5 Portuguese), 12 pole and line vessels...
