Greece and Turkey are jointly to submit ratification instrument for agreement on anti-personnel mines

Kastellorizo, 05/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - Greece and Turkey have announced that they are to simultaneously submit to the United nations ratification instruments for the Ottawa Convention on banning anti-personnel mines, it was announced by Greek Foreign Minister George Papandreou and Turkish foreign Minister Abdullah Gül during their meeting on the sidelines of the "Gymnich" informal Council.
