Commission announces 210 million in aid

Brussels, 05/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission announced on Monday its intentions to grant accelerated credit of 210 million Euros to Jordan and Egypt to offset the economic impact of the war in Iraq. This emergency aid will be taken from existing commitments and will be rapidly deployed to help the two countries most affected by the war to stabilise their economic situation.
