Acquisition by Gaz de France of Preussag Energie activities in Germany is cleared

Brussels, 28/04/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has authorised Gaz de France to take over the Preussag Energie GmbH activities in the oil and gas sector in Germany, by purchase of shares. A subsidiary of the German group TUI, Preussag Energie is an international oil and gas exploration and production company with activities in nine countries worldwide.
