Brussels, 28/04/2003 (Agence Europe) - EENA (European Emergency Numbering Association) is attempting to represent all players involved in the good functioning of emergency services - equipment producers, switchboard operators, insurance companies, fire brigades, police, civil protection, consumer organisations, travellers, drivers' clubs, etc, with the aim of promoting the use of "112" as a single emergency number in Europe, providing rapid and effective access to emergency services.
