The German group E.ON has sold off VITERRA ENERGY SERVICES (turnover EUR 463 million in 2002 with staff of 3700), which brings together the activities of electricity and water meters at its subsidiary VITERRA, to British investment fund CVC CAPITAL PARTNERS for EUR 930 million, EUR 85 million is in debt purchase.
