- Bulgaria: the Austria ERSTE BANK and the Hungarian bank OPT are both candidates for the taking over of DSK, the second largest bank in Bulgaria. The Greek PIRAEUS BANK has withdrawn an offer. Details of the two offers will be revealed next week. See IE 9 January.
