EUR 292 million loan to extend Prague Airport

Brussels, 11/04/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) is lending EUR 292 million for a new passenger terminal with a capacity of 3.5 million passengers at Prague International Airport (PIA). The new terminal will increase PIA's capacity to some 10 million passengers a year. The loan is being made to the state-owned enterprise Ceská správa letišt' s.p., (Czech Airports Authority).
