Spain may have to repay EUR 21 million flax aid along with large fines

Brussels, 26/02/2003 (Agence Europe) - In addition to the EUR 117 million fines still being negotiated for fraud in the flax sector in the 1998/99 and 1999/2000 marketing years, Spain may have to repay EUR 21 million of improperly granted flax and hemp aid.
