26/02/2003 (Agence Europe) - Bonino List MEP Marco Cappato has described the criticisms in the 2002 International Narcotics Control Board Report as "unreasonable, incorrect and ultimately illegal". He says the report launches "a crusade against those who support alternative policies on drugs" although the policies applies in various Member States (the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, and planned measures in Luxembourg and Portugal) are in line with existing UN conventions.
