Commission submits to Member States a list of US products to which sanctions might be applied

Brussels, 26/02/2003 (Agence Europe) - As anticipated by Europe (see our newsletter of 25 February, p. 11), the European Commission has submitted to Member States the final list of US imports to which sanctions totalling up to $ 4.043 billion may apply if the United States persists in retaining its tax exemption scheme for foreign sales corporations, better known as the ETI/FSC (Extra-Territorial Income scheme for Foreign Sales Corporations), which the World Trade Organisation has decided...
