Brussels, 26/02/2003 (Agence Europe) - While defending the adjustments proposed at the end of 2002 by the European Commission in order to strengthen budgetary policy coordination, Commissioner Pedro Solbes said, on Tuesday, that difficulties encountered over recent months in implementing the Stability Pact and current growth "in no way justify calls for radical review of the EU's budgetary rules".
