Brussels / Copenhagen, 30/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - The co-President of the Green/EFA Group Daniel Cohn-Bendit and head of the EU/Russia delegation in the European Parliament, Bert Staes have asked the EU to raise the problem of Chechnya at the forthcoming EU/Russia Summit in Brussels on 11 November, considering that it was high time the EU Council took a "strong initiative" that will open a dialogue on the future of Chechnya.
