30/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - During its plenary session, last week in Strasbourg, the Parliament unanimously adopted the resolution by Caroline Jackson (EPP-ED, UK), Chair of the Environment Committee, urging the Union to keep its leading role in international negotiations on climate change (COP 8, New Delhi), currently under way and to be concluded on 2 November (see EUROPE of 7 and 8 October, p.15).
