30/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - The Italian Agriculture Minister has called for the olive oils "Alto Crotonese" (virgin olive oil produced in several areas of the province of Crotone in Calabria) and "Molise" (extra virgin olive oil produced in this region) to be registered as names of origin and protected geographical indications. These two registration requests are published in the Official Journal (C262 of 29 October 2002).
