30/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday, the European Commission launched a project aimed at creating a research network on the management of radioactive waste in Europe. Its aim is to improve cooperation in the field of definitive storage of radioactive waste. It groups bodies of seven Member States (Belgium, Germany, Spain, France, Finland, Sweden and United Kingdom) and Switzerland.
