EDIG proposals on establishment of European Defence Equipment Market (EDEM)

Brussels, 30/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - EDIG (European Defence Industries Group), which brings together several European groups involved in the defence industry, has sent a contribution to the European Convention in which it makes suggestions for the setting up of a European Defence Equipment Market (EDEM), stressing the interaction of EDEM with the other components of ESDP. According to EDIG, to achieve such a single market in the defence sector, at least four conditions must be met:
