Parliament urges EU to present resolution on human rights, while hoping that Teheran will do the necessary to escape it

Strasbourg, 28/10/2002 (Agence Europe) - By adopting a joint resolution by five political groups on Thursday, the EP hopes that, following fruitful talks on human rights, measures will be taken in Teheran so that no resolution on human rights in Iran need be tabled on the occasion of the next meeting of the UN Commission on Human Rights, in Geneva.
