Brussels, 09/09/2002 (Agence Europe) - Monday's edition of El Pais reports that at the EPP meeting in Sardinia on Monday (in Silvio Berlusconi's villa La Certosa in Porto Cervo), Spanish prime minister José Maria Aznar is expected to oppose several important proposals in the Schaûble-Martens plans for a European Constitution, probably supported in this by Silvio Berlusconi and Jean-Pierre Raffarin (see Europe of 6 September, p.4).
