Parliament supports establishment of single legal text on aid to employment

Strasbourg, 05/09/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, the European Parliament adopted the report by Luis Berenguer Fuster (PES, Spain) approving the European Commission's proposed regulation on application of Articles 87 and 88 of the EC Treaty relating to State aid for employment. The regulation aims to set out binding criteria on the matter of employment aid in a single legal text.
