Aid for Dutch and Belgian border regions

Brussels, 14/05/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Monday, European Commissioner Michel Barnier unveiled an EU cross-border co-operation programme between Belgium and the Netherlands ("Grensregio Vlaanderen-Nederland) to be financed by the INTERREG III A Community Initiative, for provinces with a combined population of around 9 million people.
