Hunger strike against on-line elections by European Council of Students

Brussels, 14/05/2002 (Agence Europe) - The member of the Bonino list, Maurizio Turco MEP has asked for information of the European Commission on the partnership between the EU and the pilot-project "EU-Student Vote" (www.eusv.org). Between 9 and 23 May, the latter is organising the on-line elections of the "European Council of Students", in which it is a question of providing the role of representative of some 12 million students from Member States "in Community institutions".
