Joint specifications for blood testing equipment

Brussels, 14/05/2002 (Agence Europe) - On 14 May, the European Commission adopted technical specifications for products and equipment used for safety testing of blood and donor organs. These common technical specifications (CTS) replace existing national rules for products used to ascertain blood groups and test for infectious agents such as HIV and Hepatitis.
