ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) services

The Danish services group ISS (28.7 bn Danish kroner turnover in 2000 with 270,000 employees in 36 countries) has proposed to its compatriot SOHPUS BERENDSEN (DKK 3.4 bn turnover in 2000 with 7,000 employees) merging so as to pool their activities specialised in product services and programmes and thereby create a "Facility Services" concept. ISS currently holds a 9.59% stake in BERENDSEN.
