Commission decides Wednesday on methods for breaking up Schneider/Legrand and Tetra Laval/Sidel

Brussels, 29/01/2002 (Agence Europe) - The Commission is expected to adopt two decisions on Monday aimed at setting out the methods for breaking up the Schneider and Legrand electrical materials group and the Tetra Laval and Sidel packing company. The two mergers were vetoed by the Commission because they breached competition rules in the European market.
