Commission divided on Solbes proposal to give warning to Germany and Portugal

Brussels, 29/01/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday the Commission was due to adopt the EcoFin recommendations on the updating of the Stability Programmes for seven Member States (France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Portugal and Spain), as well as the convergence plan for the United Kingdom.
